Conference – The University of Alabama – Tuscaloosa,
AL
The SSHS
Symphonic Band performed in the Moody Concert Hall
on the campus of The University of Alabama on
January 18, 2007. The Symphonic Band was selected
through a blind audition as one of four bands to
perform at this prestigious event.

determined that a mathematical error had occurred
and Prattville HS actually had the highest band
score, which was .0034 higher than SSHS. Event

The Symphonic Band was selected as one of four
featured high school bands (out of 24 that applied)
to perform at their 30th annual clinic.
There were band directors and educators in
attendance from throughout the United States at this
performance.
